After being the highest country in the world with Hepatitis C prevalence, we are finally on track. Egypt is currently considered the global leader in the fight against Hepatitis C, providing an affordable and effective cure.
In the last year a million people were cured from Hepatitis C worldwide, 830,000 of them in Egypt, 600,000 using Pharco’s medicines.

Dr. Gamal Esmat, representing Pharco, was the first Arab to present in the closing ceremony, where the major treatment protocols for the upcoming year are agreed upon.
